Finally got some film developed:

Carpet weaving on a roof seems like a nice employment. Apparently men only make the easy carpets because they're easily distracted. This guy made so many poses for me!

Tannery! Not that smelly in the winter, actually.

These are the ruins of a Roman town just outside of Fes. Mac and I sat around the temple and sunbathed, listening to tour guides. Apparently there is no consensus on whose temple this was. We heard Minerva and Jupiter. Probably the tour guides couldn't care less...

Hey.

Flatbread hot out of the wood stove. Yum. Goes well with mint tea!

So many mules.

Our hostel was right in the middle of the meat market in the old Medina. Live chickens for 300 dirhams! I wonder how much the camel heads cost...

This is the view from the roof of our hostel. A good place to play 'count the mosques'.

We were surprised by how green everything was. Besides the mountains, this small town could be in the Netherlands.
Finally, I hate blogspot. I realize that I'm a technologically disabled but I'm ready to admit that blogspot just sucks. Boo.
