I thought the stories about Lent having been a refugee camp were totally fabricated to exaggerate our dismal accommodations but the other night I was having dinner at a squat a few kilometers from Lent and a group of locals assured us that it had been a refugee camp only about a decade ago. I think this place can be pretty homey once you fill it with lovely people.
Went to the market in town and bought veggies and olives. Came back to Lent and made a feast:
